One of 24 games
Four of a kind.
How to play
- Sixteen words, four hidden groups of four. Tap four that belong together, then check.
- A group found folds away under its name. A wrong four costs a miss — and the Landlord says when you were one away.
- Some words fit two groups. That is the whole game.
- Three groups found is four: the last is whatever is left. Four wrong groups and the Landlord takes the board on the fun and dark paths; the middle path runs the clock instead.
The clock
- Light path
- No clock: the board waits for you. The Landlord allows 4 misses before it takes the board.
- Middle path
- Its own short clock: 90 seconds.
- Dark path
- Its own short clock: 90 seconds. The Landlord allows 4 misses before it takes the board.
Where you’ll play it
In house runs across the city, in free play, and in today’s house. Whatever the round, the Landlord may call a rule on it: more time, a second off for every miss, taps that land one over. Read how the game works.
