One of 24 games
Higher or lower.
How to play
- One card shows. Call the next one higher or lower.
- A wrong call costs a miss but the walk goes on — the card turns either way.
- A seven cuts the deck in half. An ace is high. Play the odds, not the hope.
- Call every card in the row to win the round.
One of the games a run can open with: it explains itself in seconds.
The clock
- Light path
- No clock: the board waits for you. The Landlord allows 5 misses before it takes the board.
- Middle path
- The Landlord's clock: 75 seconds at the start of a run, two fewer every round.
- Dark path
- The Landlord's clock: 60 seconds at the start of a run, two fewer every round. The Landlord allows 5 misses before it takes the board.
Where you’ll play it
In house runs across the city, in free play, and in today’s house. Whatever the round, the Landlord may call a rule on it: more time, a second off for every miss, taps that land one over. Read how the game works.
